Honduras La Navi Washed - 250g
Honduras La Navi is sourced from a group of dedicated smallholder producers across the Lempira region of western Honduras — one of the country's premier coffee-growing areas. Fully washed and patio-dried at elevations between 1,400 and 1,750 MASL, this is a coffee that reflects the collective effort of five individual farms and a range of complementary varietals: Red Catuaí, Bourbon, Pacas, Lempira, and IHCAFE 90.
Honduras is now the largest coffee producer in Central America — exporting over five million bags annually and a major force in specialty grade coffee. It's a remarkable turnaround for a country where coffee was little more than a garden crop a century ago. The terroir of Lempira, with its altitude, rich soils, and cool mountain climate, is central to that story.
In the cup: chocolate fudge brownie, honey nougat, dulce de leche, and tropical juice. As a filter it's delicate and refined; as espresso it really opens up — big fudgy chocolate, caramelised milk, and nougat, with tropical brightness that cuts through beautifully as a black or in milk.
